Bloomington Chamber of Commerce Gala

On January 28, 2012, the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Gala. This year, the name is “Prom ‘54” and it will be held at the Westin Edina Galleria, in Edina. For more information, go online at

Edina Chamber of Commerce Emerald Gala

On February 11, 2012, the Edina Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 40th anniversary at its Emerald Gala at the Edina Country Club.

This is the Edina Chamber’s largest event of the year and includes food, shopping, dancing, and fun. RBCU is a sponsor of the event and will have representatives in attendance. The silent auction will have hundreds of items to choose from.

Pennies for Patients Fundraiser

In the first quarter of 2012, RBCU will again assist many local elementary and middle schools in their annual Pennies for Patients coin collection drives.

RBCU employees will donate time to travel to local schools with a coin counting machine to help facilitate fast and accurate accounting. Besides the worthiness of the cause, the competition is fierce as students of the classes collecting the most change in each school receive a pizza party. Additionally, prizes such as computers, electronics, and sports equipment are presented to the top schools. Accurate coin counting is very important and RBCU is proud of its assistance with this important fundraising drive.
